Michael is the founding member of Aphrodite: he has been there, done it and has the dodgy photos to prove it! Playing music is all he has ever wanted to do, and is all he has ever done! He has steered Aphrodite through good, bad, ugly (and some plain weird) times, and still keeps coming back for more… Vastly experienced yet with enough musical and business acumen to stay ahead of the competition in an ever-changing music industry, Michael has shown great integrity and faith in the band he formed over 20 years ago.
A noted vocalist and frontman, Michael is also a classically-trained pianist, However, he has recently developed a staccato, riffing punk-guitar style with attitude, and is most likely to be found menacing the front row of the audience with his Ibanez!
