David has a chequered history with Aphrodite going back far too long as a guitarist-for-hire when others let them down (why are guitarists so temperamental?), but finally got his chance to make his mark permanently in 1997, and now he just refuses to leave! A jack-of-all- trades (or just confused), he has had a colourful career outside the music business, gaining an English degree, teaching in France and serving as a police officer, before returning to his musical roots.

No megalomaniac fret- shedder, David was raised on 80s 'thinking man's' guitar-pop and considers himself a 'riff-merchant' who would love to have been in the Smiths in a different life! He has a bluesy, funky edge to his playing but he can suddenly stun you with a killer break when you least expect it!
